Verified ReviewerNever Delivered After 25 Days, Customer Service Lies Multiple Times
I ordered a get-well breakfast gift basket for another co-worker on behalf of my team at work. Wolferman's did not deliver the package by the delivery date.
A few days after the delivery date, I contacted customer service, and the representative said it was on its way and would arrive the next day. Ten days later, I followed up with the recipient. They never received it. I called customer service again.
This representative stated it never shipped, which is what I saw in the tracking information. When the first representative said it would arrive the next day, it was a flat-out lie. The second representative offered to ship another one, but after 25 days of non-delivery, I requested a refund. The representative stated he put in a refund request for me, which sounded suspect.
I am not familiar with submitting a refund that requires approval. I questioned this. He said that was the policy, but refunds are generally approved, and I should have a refund in 5-7 business days. Those days passed, and I did not have a refund.
When I contacted customer service tonight, I was told there was no refund because it had shipped and was delivered. What the heck? I really thought my head was going to explode. I repeated the previous conversation with the second representative, and the representative tonight said, okay, let me check.
He replied that no refund request had ever been put in. So, the second representative completely lied, and tonight's representative started by lying, stating it had shipped and was received. I have truly never experienced customer service so outrageous.
He allegedly put a refund immediately through, but time will tell. I am canceling my Passport membership and will never, ever order from them or their sister companies again.
Preferred solution: Full refund
User's recommendation: Shop local. Find a local business and order gift baskets from them. Run the opposite way from this company, Harry and David and 1-800-Flowers.

Verified ReviewerOrdered buy 1 get second 1/2 price. They change order and bill you for first full price and second half price item disappears.
Customer service is in a foreign country, and after sending me 21 confirmation emails about my order, I received half of it. They told me I only ordered one thing.

Verified ReviewerSpent about 4 hours total trying to resolve the error THEY made in my order. Reassured “the back office” was taking care of it. Did not happen
Used to be excellent when I ordered gifts from them years ago and thought I would order again. Their phone agents, which I waited for 1 and 1/2 hours, the first one, Rochelle, seemed stoned or drunk or nutty.
She asked my name 4 times, my address 5 times (I spelled it out after being asked twice each time), my order number 4-5 times, at the fourth time. And I could hear the keys clacking. Was she texting friends? I said politely, 'I already spelled this for you.
How about writing it down?' and she giggled, 'Oh yeah, tee hee.' So after an additional 1/2 hour trying to get service from her, (it was now 12:30 AM) I said I was too tired to continue and would call back. I called back at 6am the next morning and was promised the back office would fix it and I would get an email regarding the fix. No email all day. I called back, got the same response about the fix and email- no email.
I called the next day, got the same response. 1-800 Flowers supposedly owns them.
Can't get a corporate number to call. No more flower orders from me to them, never muffin orders either.

Be very careful when you order from Wolferman's
Wish I would have read reviews on Wolferman's before ordering from them.
On 12/14 I ordered their Bakery Sampler Boxes to send as Christmas gifts to three separate friends. The Arrives By date for each order defaulted to 12/25.
After placing the last of the three orders I noticed if you go back to review an order within 15 minutes of placing it you can change the Arrives By date, and I was able to revise the last order placement to 12/21. But I was just minutes late to change the first two order dates.
I got onto their chat to request having the other two Arrives By dates revised to 12/21. Their customer agent Rhodora (pretty sure she wasn't a bot as she took a long time to log on and to reply to my chat requests), she informed me it would cost $25 to change each of the Arrive By dates.
I thought she was joking at first, but she wasn't. I had just placed the orders and they were trying to charge me an extra $50 for an earlier "Arrives By" date that was available at no charge when I had just revised the last order?
Buyers beware with your order accuracies when you order from Wolfermans.

Ordered in October to be delivered as a Christmas gift. The order was confirmed but they never informed me it was out of stock until I called on December 18th.
I received nothing but stories about how something would be delivered the next day - which never happened. I called again and was given a different story - items out of stock; I was asked to pick something else and it would be delivered in 3 days. Since the recipient would not be home, I asked if it could be overnighted. They said yes, but again, it didn't happen.
I called again and was told something will be delivered today. I don't even know what, since I was never told and there is nothing online. The people who try to help are hard to understand.
I spoke to four different people, all with different stories, none of which were valid. I'm still without a gift and haven't received a refund!

I have been receiving wolfermans products for the Holiday's on and off for more than 40 years. Back when there were 4 English muffins per package.
Back when those English Muffins were twice as round and twice as thick..
Whoever took over quality has failed. Wolfermans has failed.
I will never buy nor except any wolfermans products.
You lost...you can look up my order and find out what I ordered. I'm not putting any more effort in wolfermans

Ordered a Christmas gift end of October 2024- order was confirmed. Heard nothing - no information or tracking.
Called company & spoke with people very hard to understand but trying to help. My order was out of stock but I was never informed. Order was cancelled by them. I asked to speak with a supervisor who Told me a replacement was sent on the way to be delivered next day, never happened.
Called again told me out of stock & needed to choose something else which couldn't be delivered for 3 days. Asked if it could be over nighted as recipient was going away, told me yes but again never happened. Called again story was will be delivered today. So far nothing.
Worst company I have ever dealt with and will never order again. BUYERS BEWARE!

I placed a Christmas order. I received a confirmation in my email that they had received the order.
However, it was never delivered. I called and asked why. They said it was canceled. I never received a text or an email telling me they canceled my order.
I checked my spam folder and voicemails, but found nothing. The customer service was terrible.

I ordered four packages of flavored, thick English muffins to be sent to friends for Christmas. When asked for their honest opinion, they said there was hardly any flavor.
I tried one and agreed with them.
It was disappointing because it was a gift. However, your customer service when placing the order was very courteous and professional.

Theft of my money & Horrible customer service
Placed an order on Dec. 13 (2024) to be delivered by Christmas.
Used my bank card and was debited correct amount (Approx $94). Then, on Dec. 17, same card was again debited for approx. $94.
Double billed for 1 order. Tried calling customer service many times. On hold forever. Finally get person who barely speaks English, who didnt understand the issue.
Finally he told me he gets lots of calls about double billing. Just wait a few days and it will be removed. So Im allied back and got another customer service rep who did understand English better. She heard me and put me on hold (several minutes) then came back with answer.
The second time I was billed was for authorization and the charge will be removed within 7-10 business days. WHAT? You were already paid in full days before. What reason is there to have to authorize the transaction, or my credit card, after youve been paid.
I asked to speak with supervisor and was told someone would call me within 24 hours. I wont hold my breath. Then called bank and they verified the se one charge was listed as (temporary authorization and they could do nothing about it until I file a complaint.
Doing that too. NEVER EVER AGAIN WILL I USE THIS COMPANY.

Verified ReviewerGot a package that wasn’t exactly packed - just thrown in the bottom of a large box with a banner that was clearly intended to wrap around something just tossed in and no indication who had sent it.
When I chatted with them to try and find out who the sender was I was told it couldnt be traced even though I had the order number

Verified ReviewerThis company is a scam. Customer service is the worse I have ever dealt with. Total difficult people that cannot speak English. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM OR HARRY AND DAVE THEIR MAIN COMPANY!
Items were missing from our order, and the ones we received were incorrect. We spent an hour with Customer Service, and they kept putting me on hold. They were extremely rude and couldn't speak English!

I too have been on the phone with them regarding their muffins and it is like wrestling with a snake! They tell you what you want to hear and it never happens. It has caused me a lot of wasted time on the phone.
RIGHT??? They just lie! I was mortified to see them on HMA Deals and Steals this week.
